RE: what is the best class B+

We have a Coachmen Concord 275 DS. Have been very happy with it. Tow a Chevy Malibu Maxx behind. Has plenty of storage inside for travel 4 months on road. Added a memory foam topper to the 60 x 75 queen bed. The wife and I need some time apart, so we like having a separate bedroom area. It is 29' long. However, we get into State and Federal Camping spots with no problem. Really like having the 3 exit doors. Very good road handling. Bath is a little tight, but I am 260 lbs. Best part, my DW will drive it. So I get a chance to enjoy the scenery a bit more. Sometimes kick around about returning to larger RV. Then we drive around in this one. Loose that urge quickly to buy a larger rig. Have fun. You need to find the floorplan, that works the best for you. The 2009 Coachmen, Winnebago/Itasca also offer some new floorplans.

RE: MALIBU MAXX FUSE REMOVAL ISSUE

I have a 2004 Malibu Maxx I never pull the fuse because of adj.peddles. The longest day I have driven is 14 hours and the battery still had enough charge to start the car. We always stop in campgrounds for the night .So while hooking up I just start the car and let it run for 15 or 20 min. Also check the plug in in the center storage between front seats.

RE: In lieu of leveling blocks mmmm

35 years ago that was the way to level. The 70's &early 80's TT's & MH's had no place to store leveling wood.

RE: Used coach avoids problems???

We had a 2004 Sea Breeze that we could not get fixed by the dealer or factory. We traded it in on a new motorhome. The next buyer got the prolbems.

RE: Slide out adjustment???

There is a lever on the end of the motor that locks the slide when the power is off . It is easy to hit the lever when moving stuff in the storage bay.

RE: View 23J Sewage Hose....a permanant solution?

We carry our hose in a clear bin. We place the bin on the ground under the cap. Any leakage will end up in the plastic bin. We rinse it out after replacing the cap. Always where plastic gloves.

RE: Memory Foam Topper

The memory foam is very comfortable. However, the foam retains body heat. We have a 2 inch that we use in the house, purchased from Costco. Really like it. So I thought the 6 inch would have to be better for the RV. Purchased from Overstock.com Cut it down with an electric knife to fit. Too hot, More to sink into. Could not even roll over. Got rid of it. I used a topper over it. No problem with slipping. I am still thinking about getting another one for the RV that is not over 2 inches.

RE: Northwest Spring Rally, May 15-17, 2009

I have a question about the aircard for wireless internet. Seem to have a time limit on Verizon and ATT. When I checked with AT&T/Verizon, they no longer have unlimted contract. They have a
5 GIG monthly download, that is $60.00 Do you ever exceed? What about the overage charges? That is my only concern. The rest seems like the way to go.
